Background
To improve the way new suppliers, integrate with National services a number of new APIs and Adaptors have been developed – These new APIs enable FHIR based technical interface Standards for integrating with the National Services and are hosted on the NHSD API Management platform. The adapters are software components you can deploy yourself that hide the complexity of the API.
Outline Plan
These Standard uplifts are being introduced as NHS Digital have developed ways of making the integration with national systems less burdensome. Suppliers who have not yet integrated with these National Services will be assured against these uplifted Standards.
For Suppliers on other Frameworks who already integrate with these National Services there is no action required at this point.
