Background

The Online Consultation Capability is being Deprecated as part of this Roadmap Item. This decision has been made as part of developing the new Digital Pathways Framework based on User Research to split the Online Consultation Capability and enhance into new Capabilities as follows:

• Care Navigation

• Online Patient/Service User Consultation

• Online Consultations and Online Patient/Service User Requests Reporting

• Online Patient/Service User Request

Outline Plan

The Online Consultation Capability will be Deprecated on the Effective Date, existing Compliant Solutions need to remain compliant. The Capability will be Retired once the DFOCVC Framework comes to an end on the 31st March 2024, however, it is expected that there’s still call off arrangements in place.
