Description

Enables Health and Care Professionals to create, view and share Medical Reports for Patients.

Outcomes

For a Patient:

The ability for appropriate information from their Electronic Patient Record (EPR) to be shared with relevant 3rd parties.

For a Health or Care Professional:

The ability to create, view and share Medical Reports for Patients.

As a Health or Care Professional

I want to create Medical Reports for Patients

So that information from a Patient’s Electronic Patient Record (EPR) can be provided to fulfil a request for a Medical Report

Acceptance criterion 1: create Medical Reports for Patients

Given the Health or Care Professional is permitted to manage Medical Reports for Patients

When the Health or Care Professional selects to create a Medical Report for a Patient

Then the Medical Report for the Patient is created

Acceptance criterion 2: view content of Medical Reports created for Patients

Given the Health or Care Professional is permitted to manage Medical Reports for Patients

When the Health or Care Professional selects to view a created Medical Report for a Patient

Then the content of the Medical Report for the Patient is displayed

    • Medical examination report for a lorry or bus driving licence

I want to share Medical Reports for Patients

So that information from a Patient’s Electronic Record (EPR) can be shared

Acceptance criterion 1: share Medical Reports for Patients

Given the Health or Care Professional is permitted to manage Medical Reports for Patients

When the Health or Care Professional selects to share a Medical Report for a Patient

And Patient consent to share the information has been recorded

Then the Medical Report for the Patient is shared

And the shared Medical Report can be attached to the Patient’s Electronic Patient Record (EPR)

  • Examples of recipients of Medical Reports MAY include, but are not limited to

    • Health or Care Professionals

    • Non-Health or Care Professionals

MAY Epics - Describes additional functionality associated with the Capability. Suppliers should consider all MAY Epics as part of their User Research. Suppliers can choose to map their Solutions to these Epics and they will be evaluated via Capability Assessment. Contracting Authorities or purchasing organisations may require these Epics as product qualification or requirements criteria
