Background

The Communicate With Practice - Citizen Capability is being deprecated as this represents a legacy approach using IM1 integration with limited uptake. A more strategic and standardised approach to Patient 2-way messaging (using NHS App/NHS Notify) is likely to be introduced in the future.

In addition the related Communicate with Practice - Citizen Epics in the Patient Information Maintenance - GP Capability will be removed/updated.

Outline Plan

The Communicate with Practice - Citizen Capability will be retired at a later date at which point any references or links will be removed from the Capabilities & Standards model.
