Background
A review of the Cohort Identification and PCN Appointments Management - Vaccinations Capabilities has been completed. These Capabilities were originally introduced to meet a specific need; however, Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are no longer mandated to administer vaccinations and this service is being moved to GPs. As a result, these Capabilities will be retired.
Some of the functionality in the Cohort Identification and PCN Appointments Management - Vaccinations Capabilities has been crossed mapped with existing Epics in the Appointments Management - GP Capability. These Epics will be added to the Cross-organisation Appointment Booking Capability so that the functionality is available in a wider context within the Capabilities and Standards model. Additionally the Supporting Information in E00252 will be uplifted to include examples of Sessions that can be exported for greater clarity.

Full Specification
The Cross-organisation Appointment Booking and Appointments Management Capabilities will be uplifted on the Effective Date with the changes outlined in the Summary of Change above.
Assurance Approach
MAY Epics describe additional functionality and these can be selected by Suppliers, but are not mandatory. If selected, Suppliers will be assessed against this Epic as per the Capability Assessment process and this will be a high level assessment based on the Acceptance Criteria defined.
If selected, Suppliers will be asked to demonstrate their mitigations against the pre-identified risks through completion of the NHS England Solution Assurance Capability Risk Log submission.
