Supports the registration of Patients and the maintenance of all Patient personal information in the Detained Estate, including demographics. Supports the organisation and presentation of a comprehensive Electronic Patient Record (EPR), and transferring Electronic Patient Records (EPRs) between residential detention sites and GP Practices.
Also supports the submission of data to the Authority for monitoring and research purposes.
Outcomes
For a Patient: | The accurate recording of a Patient’s personal information, and Detained Estate registration information, which contributes to the identification of the Patient and sharing of correct data across health and care. Patient safety is increased and facilitates finding Patients at risk. |
For the Detained Estate: | Allows for the effective management of information relating to Patients in Detained Estates.
