Consultation and Care-coordination Lot

Welcome to the Consultation and Care-coordination Capabilities and Standards site

The products in this Lot will support the management of Patients and their care, including the provision of flexible tools that support clinicians in making informed decisions about the Patient’s care.

It includes Capabilities around care planning, Digital Diagnostics (requesting/receiving of test results), Remote Patient Monitoring and the requesting/receiving of advice or guidance from other Health or Care Professionals. This Lot also covers the provision of health and care services outside of a traditional standalone GP Practice such as Domiciliary Care planning, Caseload Management and the management of Appointments across different organisations.

This Lot also includes Overarching Standards and other applicable mandatory Standards as defined by individual Epics.

Suppliers must meet one or many Capabilities to onboard onto the Buying Catalogue for this Lot and should take note of the following:

• The Productivity Capability (previously available through the GP IT Futures Framework) is not applicable for this Lot. The following new Capabilities have been created to replace certain functionality covered by some Solutions that previously onboarded against this Capability:

  • Digital Dictation

  • Medical Reports

  • Self-Service Appointment Check In

• Requirement GP-IG-18-8 National Data Guardian Security Standards in Information Governance is applicable for this Contracting Vehicle

• The following Requirements in Non-Functional Questions are applicable for this Contracting Vehicle:

  • GP-NFQ-U-7 Supported devices

  • GP-NFQ-U-8 Client Access Mechanism (Accessibility)

  • GP-NFQ-RS-6 Network quality/performance

  • GP-NFQ-CM-5 Storage Capacity

  • GP-NFQ-PS-14 Video and audio and picture/image quality

We recommend that Suppliers familiarise themselves with planned changes to Capabilities and Standards on the Digital Services for Integrated Care (DSIC) Roadmap. In addition to this, for the Consultation and Care-coordination Lot there is a list of future considerations for the Roadmap that Suppliers should expect to fall within the lifespan of this Contracting Vehicle.
