Standards Assurance

Summary

If your Solution is not compliant with the Standards applicable to Digital Care Services, then Buyers cannot be confident that your Solution is safe for them to use, whether it will be able to interact with other systems, or be comprehensible.

Your Solution must complete the Standards Assurance process which involves establishing whether your Solution works in accordance with regulations and instructions. This process is applicable for the Overarching Standards, Primary Care Technology and Innovation Standard and the Technical Standards.

To do this you must indicate for each requirement whether or not you are compliant by completing the relevant Standard Compliance Traceability Matrix.

The Traceability Matrixes will inform you as to what type evidence is required, but may include:

  • Self-declaration

  • Written explanation/Supporting written statements

  • Data extracts/Reports

We will review the evidence and provide you with a result on whether the it is sufficient to pass the requirement.

Please note that Standards Assurance work MUST be completed, or a Work Off Plan arranged to complete the work within an agreed time, in order to complete the Onboarding Process.

Interoperability

Interoperability involves two components:

  1. The Interoperability Standard, which has a Traceability Matrix and follows the assessment process described on this page.

    1. The Interoperability Standard is mandatory for all Solutions that include interfaces covered by the scope of this Standard.

  2. The National integration and interoperability Standards which are listed in the Capability-specific interoperability Standards section of the Interoperability Standard page.

    1. To determine which Capability-specific interoperability Standards your Solution is required to be compliant with, check the Additional Implementation Details of the Epics you have selected, and the the Capability-specific interoperability Standards tables on the Interoperability Standard page.

Outcomes
