Maternity
Maternity - Requirement Map
The Requirements Map is the map of the Requirements and User Stories and their link back to the Digital Capabilities Framework (DCF). Green rows show DCF Core level requirements and yellow rows are DCF Transformation and Innovation level requirements.
Maternity - Standards
Standards are a set of guidelines that ensure the system’s interoperability, security, and compliance with national and international regulations, as well as clinical standards.
Maternity - Non-Functional Requirements
Non-functional requirements define the system's attributes and qualities. They ensure the usability and effectiveness of the entire system.
Important Information
Within this requirements catalogue we use the terms woman, women, and pregnant women. However, we recognise that some transgender men, non-binary people and people with variations in sex characteristics (VSC) or who are intersex may also access maternity services. Maternity services and delivery of care must therefore be appropriate, inclusive, and sensitive to the needs of everyone who accesses maternity services, including those who are trans, non-binary or intersex.
The capabilities and requirements within this catalogue describe the functionality of a maternity solution that is either an enterprise electronic patient record or a standalone system. These can consist of integrated applications and features or multiple products working together. A maternity system/solution should support the Digital Capabilities Framework and the care of both individual pregnant women and populations of pregnant women. The base functionality must be included without additional cost, but additional products can be integrated if needed.
