Acute/Foundation Standards

Non-Functional Requirements (Acute/Core)

Non-functional requirements (NFR) are a specification or constraint that describes how the software system should behave or perform. Unlike functional requirements, which define specific features or capabilities of the software, non-functional requirements relate to system qualities such as performance, scalability, reliability, security, and usability.

The NFR’s below are intended to be used by care providers as a reference for what to look for in a system outside of the functional requirements.

Application Functions

The Application Functions describe the abilities of the software functions in an EPR application by Capability. The Application Functions Catalogue extends links to the User Stories and Core Requirements.
