Description

Certain parts of the mental health treatment process require a second opinion from another qualified professional. These user stories describe the functions associated with that need.

User Stories

MH-07.1 Request & Book review by SOAD

DCF Core Capability

As a Mental Health professional,

I want to be able to request a review,

And book Second Opinion Appointed Doctors (SOAD),

So that an appropriate clinician can review the patients care.

Acceptance criteria 1:

Given a user has the correct permissions,

When a patient has refused treatment or cannot consent,

Then a review from a Second Opinion Appointed Doctor can be requested.

AF394 Request and Book SOAD

Ability to create a SOAD request, including through the CQC system

Standards Compliance

MH-07.2 Booking SOAD via CQC System

DCF Transformation Capability

As a Mental Health professional,

I want to be able to request a review,

And book Second Opinion Appointed Doctors (SOAD) via the CQC system of approved SOAD,

So that an appropriate clinician can review the patients care.

Given a user has the correct permissions,

Then a review from a Second Opinion Appointed Doctor can be requested,

And the user can select a SOAD from the CQC system.
