Core Level Requirements

Description

Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) services are designed to offer short-term psychological therapies to people suffering from conditions such as anxiety, depression and stress. These can include self-referrals and its main aim is to allow more people to access services as efficiently as possible.

EPR MDF Mental Health Core Capability - MH-05.1 Access to IAPT

As a Mental Health Professional,

I want to support provision for structured triage and self-referral for IAPT,

So that patients can access the appropriate therapy tools.

Acceptance criteria 1:

Given a patient user has access to the correct self-refferal tools,

When patients require access to digital therapies,

Then an option for a patient to self-refer to IAPT is available

Acceptance criteria 2:

Given a patient user has access to the correct self-refferal tools,

When patients require access to digital therapies,

Then structured triage functionality is available,

EPR MDF Mental Health Core Capability - MH-05.2 Structured Outcomes

As a Mental Health Professional

I want a routine completion of structured outcome measures by patients into the core patient record,

So that outcomes can be measured and reviewed by Mental Health Professionals

Acceptance criteria 1:

Given patients are using the IAPT services,

When routine completion of structured outcome measures is undertaken,

Then this should show the end result of the patient treatment vs the aims of that treatment that were set.

As a mental health professional,

I want a user interface and data integration with online or digital therapeutic interventions,

So that the outcomes can be monitored and assessed

Acceptance criteria 1:

Given a user has the correct permissions,

When online digital therapeutic interventions are available,

Then the user interface should show which of these are available.
