Capability description
Capture, track and integrate electric fleet data into the preparedness for operational use e.g. charge status, range and vehicle charging cycles
Contents
Electric Fleet Data Management
The system must allow for the management and analysis of data so businesses can make informed decisions regarding fleet management, such as optimising charging schedules, identifying maintenance needs, and improving overall electric fleet efficiency. The system should allow for collecting and analysing data from EVs, charging infrastructure, and other relevant sources. It may also involve integration with other systems, such as energy management systems or vehicle telematics, to gather comprehensive data for analysis.
AM.09.01 Track Electric Ambulance |
---|
DCF Innovation Capability |
As a dispatcher, I want the system to enable me to allocate the most suitable vehicle with sufficient charge range for each emergency, considering vehicle types like RRV, DCA, CFR, and PTS, So that I can ensure the completion of the care episode and return to base. Acceptance criterion 1:Given that a dispatcher is permitted to allocate electric ambulances, When an electric ambulance is allocated, Then, the system should display the charge range of each available vehicle, ensuring that the dispatcher can select a vehicle with a charge range that is appropriate for the care episode and return to base. And the system should prioritise vehicles with higher charge ranges in the list of available vehicles, ensuring that vehicles with sufficient charge range are allocated first. |
AM.09.02 Collate Electric Fleet Data for Charge Status |
---|
DCF Innovation Capability |
As a dispatcher, I want the system to collate data from the electric fleet to show their charge status, So that I can choose which vehicle to dispatch. Acceptance criterion 1:Given that a dispatcher is permitted to use the system to select an electric ambulance for dispatch, When the system's electric fleet data is accessed, Then the system should display the current charge status of all electric ambulances, indicating whether they are available for dispatch based on their charge level, enabling me to make informed dispatch decisions. |
AM.09.03 Real Time Visibility of Vehicles Charging Status |
---|
DCF Innovation Capability |
As a dispatcher, I want the system to give me access to the data from the electric fleet So that I can have visibility of vehicle charging status. Acceptance criterion 1:Given that a dispatcher is permitted to access electric fleet data, When this data is accessed, Then the system should provide real-time information about the charging status of all electric ambulances in the fleet, including charging progress and estimated time to full charge, ensuring that dispatchers visibility of vehicle charging status. |
AM.09.04 Real Time Visibility of Vehicle Location |
---|
DCF Innovation Capability |
As a dispatcher, I want to be able to view the real-time location of all electric ambulances in my fleet, along with the distance to the incident location, through the system, So that I can efficiently assign the closest available ambulance to an emergency situation Acceptance criterion 1:Given that a dispatcher is permitted to access the system during an emergency call, When the system's real-time tracking feature is accessed, Then the system should display the current location of all electric ambulances in the fleet, along with the estimated distance to the incident location, allowing efficient assignment of the closest available ambulance to the emergency situation. |
Standards Compliance |
STD155 Exchange of location point |
AM.09.05 Generate Distance Travel Report of Electric Vehicles |
---|
DCF Innovation Capability |
As a dispatcher, I want to be able to generate reports on the distance travelled by electric ambulances for incidents and the distance back to the base through the system, So that I can evaluate efficiency and identify areas for improvement. Acceptance criterion 1:Given that a dispatcher is permitted to access system data relating to the distance travelled by electric ambulances, When an electric ambulance has been dispatched to an incident and returned to base, Then the system should enable the generation of a report on the distance travelled to the incident and the distance back to base. |
