Background

The purpose of this Roadmap Item is to uplift the Commercial Standard to:

  • Bring the Standard further into alignment with the wider government practice, e.g. Supplier code of conduct, ethics and governance reporting

  • Support a reduction in NME barriers to entry, artificial perceptions of market value to buyers; and inhibition of buyer choice

  • Support a general strengthening of governance over anti-competitive market behaviour and breaches of standards
