Summary

Through working with NHS England and the GP Profession in respect of the proposed National Standard for Categorisation of Appointments there is further potential for change to Appointment Systems and national standards (e.g. Mode of Booking, Mode of Appointment) to arise. The intention would be for NHS Digital to engage the market at some future point in 2019/20 to explore such requirements for change once conversations have matured.
