Work Off Plans

Summary

A Work Off Plan is a contractual agreement between you and the Programme agreeing that your Solution can be published on the Buying Catalogue whilst you’re still continuing to work towards compliance on certain Standards. This only applies where the non-compliance does not demonstrate a risk to clinical safety or a high risk in other key areas.

Objective

Your Solution is allowed onto the Buying Catalogue with a Work Off Plan and a deadline agreed for when the outstanding work will be complete.

Actions required of you

  1. Approve the Work Off Plan and agree to the delivery deadline

  2. Continue working towards compliance by uploading evidence which is related to your Work Off Plan to Sharepoint

Actions required of us

  1. Your Supplier Manager will:

    1. Create a Work Off Plan and include details of each requirement or whole Standard that has not yet been met

    2. Work with you to agree upon a realistic delivery deadline

    3. Send you the Work Off Plan to approve

  2. The Programme’s Design Authority will meet to discuss your case and either:

    1. Pass it - your Solution is then added to the Buying Catalogue and the items of the Work Off Plan will be listed on the Catalogue

    2. Reject it - your Solution must continue working towards compliance without being added to Buying Catalogue

Extension and Remediation

If the Work Off Plan delivery date is approaching and it appears that you will not be able to meet your commitments, there is the possibility of your Solution being put into Remediation and your compliant status questioned. This process has several stages and is the method by which your Solution can be removed from the Catalogue.

However, it may be possible to apply for an Extension where a revised delivery date is agreed between you and the Programme in recognition of legitimate delays.
