Background

It has been identified that an uplift can be applied to the Appointments Management - GP Capability to improve the content.

A new MAY Epic will be added to the Appointments Management - GP Capability, in relation to running Group Appointments. Group Appointments may be used in situations such as the delivery of Group Therapy sessions which may be attended by multiple Patients.

The new MAY Epic will improve the quality of the Capability by expanding on the functionality which can be offered, allowing Suppliers to better demonstrate their Solution functionality and Buyers to make more informed choices.

Then the Group Appointment Slot is created

Given the Health or Care Professional is permitted to manage Appointments

- Location

Group Appointment Slots MAY be set up on a recurring basis
A group of Patients MAY be pre-defined for booking into Group Appointment Slots
The Solution MAY allow Electronic Patient Records (EPRs) to be updated for each individual Patient, or for all Patients in a Group Appointment (e.g. the Appointment status MAY be recorded individually for each Patient in the Group Appointment, whereas Session notes MAY be recorded to all Patient Electronic Patient Records (EPRs))
