Description

Supports the management of Inbound Referrals into Community Pharmacy from other Health or Care Organisations.

Outcomes

For Community Pharmacy Clinical Services:

Management of Inbound Referrals with technology provides better efficiency to Health or Care Organisations by using mechanisms to manage Referrals.

For a Patient:

Requests to relevant Health and Care Organisations for advice, treatment or handover of care that is efficiently managed, in turn providing appropriate care for the Patient.

For Health or Care Organisations:

Reduces the dependency on GP Practices, where clinically appropriate, by allowing Health and Care Organisations to send Referrals to Community Pharmacies.
