Background

A new Framework Digital First Online Consultation & Video Consultation (DFOCVC) has been developed to include requirements for Online Consultation and Video Consultation between the Patient/Service User and the Healthcare Organisation. These new Capabilities are richer in requirements as compared to e-Consultations (Patient/Service User to Professional) Capability and can be accessed as below:

• Online Consultation
• Video Consultation

Outline Plan

The e-Consultations (Patient/Service User to Professional) Capability will be retired on 7 May 2021. All the Suppliers onboarded against this Capability will be transitioned to DFOCVC Framework.
